***IMPORTANT****SCHOOL POLICY*** cell phones must remain turned off and inside backpacks from 8:25 until school is out–NO EXCEPTIONS. If a student has a phone out during school hours, it will be taken away, turned in to the office and not returned until the parent/guardian comes to school to get it. All other electronic devices (ipods, video games, etc.) are not allowed at school. They will be confiscated and turned in to the office.
Class Rules and Policies:
1. Be on time. Be in your assigned seat when the bell rings or you will be considered tardy.
2. Be prepared. Have pencil sharpened and all required materials ready before the bell rings. Students must copy the daily agenda and homework into their planners at the start of class every day.
3. Be respectful. Wait to be called on. Use appropriate language. Treat all students and adults on campus with courtesy. Clean up after yourself in the classroom and on the school grounds.
4. The bell does not dismiss you; the teacher dismisses you. Remain in your seat until you are dismissed.
5. No arguing with the ref. The teacher in charge is the ref. It doesn’t matter who the adult in charge is: Mrs. Feller, another teacher, or a substitute—if you have an issue with their decision, you must wait until an appropriate time to discuss it with them.
Other policies: no candy, food, or drinks in the classroom (water bottles are fine); no hats worn in class; grooming and applying makeup is not acceptable classroom behavior; sleeping or laying your head on the desk is not acceptable classroom behavior.
***follow all other school rules and policies (i.e. no gum, dress code, etc.)
